Bret A. Ulrich, O.D.
Dr. Ulrich's special interests are working with patients with neurological diseases, glaucoma and dry eyes. Children's eye and vision services have become an important part of the Liberty Lake practice also. The doctor is an avid fly fisher, works with leather, building guitars and time spent with his family and grandchildren. He is an active member of the Inland Society of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, VisionSource, a Premier Network of Independent Optometrists. The practice is truly community based with most of our patients coming a short distance from their home or workplace in Liberty Lake and surrounding area.
Kurt Russell, O.D.
Dr. Kurt Russell joined Liberty Lake EyeCare Center in 2021. His practice interests include glaucoma, ocular disease management, treatment of eye injuries, post-surgical care of cataract and refractive surgery patients, contact lenses, and second-opinion consultations.
In 1997, Dr. Russell graduated with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2001 from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. During Dr. Russell's training, he received clinical honors while at the Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX and the Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.
When not in the office, Dr. Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include working on classic and special interest automobiles, and weight-lifting.
Dr. Russell will be available for appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
